Crochet blanket sizes
Warm Up America gives practical example sizes for blankets assembled from 7 × 9 inch sections: 36 × 35 inches for baby, 45 × 35 for lap, 54 × 42 for child, and 63 × 49 for adult.

Build from modules
Finished size = joined layout + border.
For same-size sections, multiply the section width by columns and section height by rows, then add any seam or join effect and border width to both edges. Measure the joined fabric before the final border; crochet tension and joining method can change the result.
