Site policy
Privacy policy
The site does not use accounts, advertising scripts, or paid-referral tracking. It uses limited first-party analytics, while optional Google Analytics loads only after you allow it.
Calculator and project data
Calculator values are processed in your browser and are not intentionally sent to a Stitch Size Lab server. The quilt, blanket, and crochet-chart tools save a project record in local browser storage only when you choose Save. You can export, import, restore, or delete that browser copy from the calculator.
Storage limits
Browser storage can be cleared and is not a dependable backup. Exported files remain under your control. Project titles and notes are not needed for personal, customer, payment, or address information.
Basic hosting data
A hosting provider may process standard technical request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, time, and security events to operate and protect the service.
Privacy-conscious first-party analytics
Stitch Size Lab records anonymous page visits, landing and exit paths, scroll milestones, coarse active time, internal-link clicks, calculator starts and completions, project actions, print actions, and eventual monetization-link clicks in its own site database. A random identifier groups events only within the current browser session. A non-unique local flag reports whether this browser has visited before; no persistent visitor identifier is sent or shared with another Size Lab site. The database does not store entered dimensions, filenames, files, project titles, notes, full referrer URLs, or IP addresses. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track disables this collection. Event records are deleted after about 400 days.
Optional Google Analytics
If you choose Allow Google Analytics, Google Analytics measures page visits, the first interaction with a calculator, and successful project actions such as saves, restores, exports, and validated imports. Stitch Size Lab does not send entered measurements, filenames, file contents, project titles, or notes. Advertising and personalization signals are disabled. You can review or withdraw your choice from the cookie policy.
Contact
If you contact the site directly, the information you provide is used to respond to that request and retained only as operationally necessary.
Future changes
Advertising or paid-referral measurement will require an updated policy and, where applicable, additional user controls before activation.
